EDM Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $23.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm )

• Write programs, implement functions, and burn details to meet engineering and production specifications.
• Operate EDM equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform general preventive maintenance on EDM equipment as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Inspect and verify finished products to ensure they meet original specifications and requirements.
• Monitor, control, and properly dispose of EDM wire and related supplies.
• Assist the Tool Room with various tasks as needed and directed.
• Read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, diagrams, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve practical machining and production issues.

EDM Operator Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. 3–5 years of experience as a Toolmaker or EDM Machinist.
• Experience in a metal stamping or automotive supplier environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety procedures, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals. Strong basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with a variety of variables and instructions.
• Ability to interpret written, verbal, diagrammatic, and schedule-based instructions.
