Job Description

Salary: $52,192 - 162,182 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent, or at least 12 years of work experience; if holding an associates degree, a minimum of 6 years of experience is required
• At least 3 years of experience as a machine learning engineer or scientist, including deploying models at scale in production with monitoring, alerting, automated bug filing, and auditing
• At least 3 years of experience applying computer science fundamentals, including computer architecture, systems engineering, and programming
• At least 1 year of experience with distributed computing systems and architectures such as big data, high-performance computing, engineering simulations, scientific computing, grid computing, cloud computing, or distributed networks
• At least 1 year of experience building and deploying AI/ML software in a cloud environment
• Proficiency in Python and Python-based AI/ML frameworks, with familiarity with libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Experience working with language models and LLM APIs, including optimizing their use for specific applications
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, R, and SQL
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong client-facing skills in a consulting environment
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across internal and client teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and innovation
• Preferred: masters or PhD in a related field such as computer science or engineering

• Translate real-world challenges into practical, efficient, and scalable AI and machine learning solutions
• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms, models, and computational systems
• Design and build scalable data pipelines to support model training and production using DevOps and MLOps practices
• Customize and apply deep learning and generative AI models for different use cases based on business needs, data availability, and infrastructure requirements, including edge devices and HPC
• Contribute to research and development of new AI and high-performance computing algorithms, models, and simulations for solving complex business problems at client sites
• Work with large datasets and apply data preprocessing techniques to ensure high-quality training and production inputs
• Implement and maintain efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms for models and knowledge using appropriate tools
• Demonstrate the business value of model approaches
• Partner with business and technical teams, including users, use case representatives, business owners, engineers, architects, and UI designers, to deliver end-to-end project outcomes and production integration
